A welcome place for beer connoisseurs living in the land of the Reinheitsgebot!
The Bierhandlung stocks beers from all over the world as well as smaller brewers in Freiburg area. They feature all types of beer and ale, from porter to IPA to gueuze. Pick anything off the wall and the person at the counter will give you a lovely description of it, maybe even food pairings or similar choices.
You can also reserve private tasting events for small and medium sized groups. Great gift for that beer lover in your life!
Realy great, small beer shop but with great selection of mostly local craft beers. Also solid selection of different Belgium beers. Owner is very friendly and eager to help with your choices. Also he knows almost everything about every local beer in his shop so you are hearing short stories about every beer you choose. Great shopping experience and I learned a bit about local beers.
