good food & friendly staff
I don't understand all of the bad reviews.
There were two of us here and we ordered 2 pizzas and everything was great!
The pizza was made on an open stone where it is a bit black on the outside, but that's the only way it's so perfect!
Wait 30 minutes to eat which is just right in my opinion.
We are from outside and will come back the next time we are in Halle.
Here I have to break a lance for the San Marco after all the bad reviews. The worst right at the beginning: the reception was unfortunately not very welcoming, that is we were not at the door or at least in the middle of the restaurant by the staff in reception, but had practically once through the large shop to the counter, so that anyone at all remarked.
That is supposed to have been "negative" already. The waiters in the very accommodating and the guest, the card small, but very appealing. The waiting times were also more limited than other reviews would suggest. To shorten this, there was also a delicious greeting from the kitchen.
We had pasta twice and it was really delicious and also the tiramisu after that could be seen.
We would not hesitate to come back.
I have eaten there a few times and the service, as well as the quality of the food, depends a lot on who is present. Some waiters are polite and friendly and others seem like they feel out of place.
The black truffle spaghetti was very tasty and the portion was very filling. The pizza, on the other hand, is sometimes a little too salty or burnt on the side.
We waited 45 minutes for a tomato soup and spaghetti bolognese. The restaurant was not full.
