Kalender Hohenthurm (09/16/2020)

As always, the collaboration with Sebatian Weidenhagen from KULTURpuzzle went very well this summer. During the holiday campaign "A colorful world" in cooperation between the parish and Hort Hohenthurm, Sebatian organized a day event with "Games around the world", including lunch preparation over a wood fire. The children and all those involved were enthusiastic and asked if we can repeat the action soon. - Pastor Johannes Thon, Hohenthurm

Many thanks to Sebastian Weidenhagen from the choir of the Walzwerker Hettstedt for the excellent cooperation over several years, especially in the preparation and realization of the Christmas concerts. With his youthful manner of research, his lively musical view and his urge for text intelligibility, he has always challenged the choir, which is also very important to him. Last but not least, with new ways of choosing songs and occasionally through unusual steps in rehearsal design, he has provided a change from the usual choral routine.

Hello Sebastian. Congratulations to the one-year company anniversary. Grown together Sebastian Weidenhagen began his choral conducting work in the Altmark Ensemble Stendal e.V in 2009. For nine years he accompanied our choir with his versatile work, which also included our instrumental group. Through his always positive attitude he helped our choir to break new ground in choral music. New compositions, popular musical melodies and songs with appealing choreographies enlivened our repertoire. His concert programs were varied and well received by the audience. His friendly way of dealing with people helped with so many difficulties with rehearsals. Choir and choirmaster have grown together in the years together. We regretted having to say goodbye to him in 2018 for professional reasons. We wish him all the best for his future life and we would be happy if he keeps his time with us in good memory.
