Fisch 2000

Angry woman screamed at us to get out as we didn't see the sign they had indoors until we were inside. Outside in the window they said up to 24 people, on their new sign the said 8. My wife ordered, asking what fish was the one most common in english fish and chips. The same angry woman told her it was Lachs. We later found out after she'd started cooking them that Lachs is salmon. Battered Salmon is an abonimation. The idea of it is just wrong. as we had been misinformed, we asked if we could change to cod or haddock. The same angry woman said no. I was looking forward to fish and chips. Not anymore. I can only assume this woman was having a very very bad day.

Cheap and fresh place specializing in different fish dishes. Price and quality ratio is excellent. Portion size 5/5. Nothing extraordinary, but still very good food. Price range is from 4€ to10€. They have coffee too.

Bigger portions with very reasonable price.. Lunch hours could be busier and you may need to wait, if you want to have a table..

Not so tasty, not so friendly

Best fish & Chips in Bremerhaven. A must try if you visit the famous Fischereihafen. I think this is the "Cult Fast Food" there! Also good variety of fresh fish to take home.
