I originally asked for brief information on a FUTURE case that the lawyer wanted to take on LATER. After a max. 10min conversation with the statement "You have to wait and see ..." was then fully billed a few weeks later. When asked, they were no longer involved and asked for the full price. I handed the case over to my legal expenses insurance, which apparently could not solve it completely (but did not tell me anything about it). Instead of the lawyer asking again briefly by phone or email, I now have a payment order.
In our opinion, this is unprofessional behavior for a service that has not been rendered and overall very opaque!
We'll look for other lawyers for the actual case!
