PLAYA DE PARAISO

Uncrowded beach. I only saw a couple of tourists and a few locals waiting for the fishermen to return. On one side is a beautiful pebble beach, a beautiful blue, very clean and quiet, on the other side the bathroom can be very dangerous! Due to the currents or I don't know what but medium-sized waves form the rocks that move the stones. Furthermore, the sea is very deep almost to the shore. If you are young and sporty it is not a problem just to cross the first wave. But be careful if you have children or are not very experienced. Find other beaches that there are several.

It is a beautiful beach, I loved the sound of the waves when sliding down the small rocks that cover the entire surface.

A wild beach of Mar Bravo, at the foot of the Malecon Park of Paraiso, is boulders. The Nice river flows into it. The bathroom is dangerous due to its strong waves, it is ideal for the walk at the foot of the Bahoruco mountain range, spectacular landscapes. Paraiso is a quiet town 30 km south of Barahona, has several hotels and is ideal as a starting point for excursions and to contemplate and enjoy a nature of sea and mountains still free of tourist crowds.
