Las Américas International Airport

The airport is nice and clean and very beautiful but the only problem is that you better come 3 hours early if you don't want to have any blood pressure and anxiety of missing your flight. 4 hours early will give you a great experience. Please note it's for Jetblue only... The other airlines move faster

Airport will have to get a facelift to get up to par with other modern airport. For some reason they have focus only on the parking . Food court is sad, very little comfortable place to rest . Should try to emulate what Panama has been doing. Immigration and customs area just as sad. Update 11/20/20 had to catch a morning flight, 7:30 am. Airport was dirty, trash everywhere (we re in middle of a pandemic) no staff seen cleaning what's so ever. Food court still closes under "repairs". This is supposed to be the flagship airport, doors to the capital but no!!! So sad!!!

I have been flying out of this airport for several years and it has improved steadily. My arrival and processing through immigration was fast and efficient. However travel is greatly reduced due to COVID-19, so it's difficult to predict any future efficiency once normal air travel volume resumes

Las Americas is a very organized airport. From the two I've flown through, I find it easist to navigate and have made it my exclusive airport to use. The employees are very helpful. I get wheelchair assistance. I've never had any issues with that either. If you have a choice of where to fly, I'd chose to fly into Santo Domingo.

The airport is clean and well maintained. There are limited choices in food and drink but perfectly acceptable and the duty free shop has some good deals!
