Went up to Tim's Lodge today and had an awesome time. Spectacular scenery, relaxing environment. The lunch provided was a typical Dominican lunch. Yummy. Coconut cream bass, rice and beans, curried chicken, lettuce salad, fried plantains, grilled eggplant. And, of course, flan for dessert and fresh bean coffee. Excellent service. Organic, both in the product and the efforts. This isn't a commercial coffee place, it's a group of local growers trying to preserve and protect there land and their heritage. Very educational, authentic, and fun. Plus, I got to drink some really good coffee. Recommend.
