National Car Rental

This is my 5th time renting from Alamo, and 3rd time with no vehicles available. I waste time and money going to Alamo to find out they can’t fulfill my reservation. I went to the lot and saw the lot full of cars so I was confident I was driving out of there with a car. WRONG. They stated they did not have a car for me, I asked for a car in a different class, representative told me no problem. She suggested a compact car and I said at this point I do not care, I need a car. My $55 reservation including insurance suddenly turned into a $200 bill, for a LOWER class car. Now I’m walking. Thanks a lot Alamo.

I made a Reservation online in their website weeks before my arrival at the airport, when I arrived the agent saw that I got a good deal on the reservation. He was making it difficult for me to take the car, so he made up randomly. Amounts that I needed to pay on top of the cost for the rental. He told me that I needed to pay 600.00 dollars supposuly for insurance, this amount was no where to be found in my reservation confirmation. When he saw that I was about to say no thanks he quickly lowered the amount for insurance and he said 500. Then I realized that he didn't have anything to get these amounts, and they were just random amounts. As a result, I was carless. Don't trust them. They will leave you carless too unless you pay them a ridiculous amount of money that they randomly make up. There are better and more serious places around. Don't let them fool you.

This place of vehicle rental, I was surprised, I had never used it, good treatment, very friendly employees try to find a solution for everything. And I loved that since I told him what I needed immediately they gave me the options I could do. They explain everything very carefully and always with a smile.
