Playa Las Canas

Beautiful beach. Very isolated. A hidden gem in Samana.

Playa Las Canas  This beach has the particularity that in front of it a river flows and a lagoon is formed if you prefer a fresh not salt water bath. The beach offers an excellent soft sand bath, little waves and medium depth. Is located on the same road of playa Moron and Dos Lanzas only 1 km further. You need to pass by a private property, that most of the time is open, take a 4×4 car or quad! But its worth! Is another isolated gem in Las Terrenas.

One of thew few virgin beaches left in Dominican Republic and in the Caribbean. It takes a bit to get here but I would recommend you do so if you like and boldly going where few have gone before!
