Bavaro Express Bus Station

I highly suggest to buy your ticket in advance (at least a day before) especially if you’re travelling during the weekends. You can’t buy your ticket online or over the phone, you can only purchase them person and cash. With COVID on the loose, I suggest bringing in your own disinfectant, like most companies in the DR money comes first.

Very good service and friendly driver. we took this bus to go to Higuey and paid $150 DP per person (instead of $60 USD excursion!). Just asked them for Higuey and they will point you to the right bus. There was no need to purchase the ticket in advance. But we were not able to find any schedule online, we just went there and got in the bus!

Only thing good about this service was it leaves onetime. Why do you guys advertise your drivers are bi lingual when they are not I took the 1p.m. bus to Punta cana on March 9th and the driver was rude did not speak a word of English and dropped me off at the wrong place instead of the bus station in friusa and dropped me off on some side street where I had to ask 10 people just to find it. He KNEW I wanted to go there but wanted to be a Jerk maybe because he views me as a wealthy tourist. Both drivers said they knew where the bus station was but obviously did not want to do any extra work so they dumped me off on some side street. The bus has ABSOLUTLY no electronic sign saying what stop you are at like the tubes do in London. I was not the only one confused as to which stop the bus was at.

It's a bit hard to know which bus goes to where, the prices are not excessive, the service is good, but it's hard to communicate in English, if you don't know at least the basics of Spanish, you can have big problems with communication.

Bad service, it will be as they are the only ones in the area (monopoly). It would be good if they had competition to see if they improve their services from transport to shipping.
