Mystical place, can find advanced old hydro technology for refining sugar. Place dates back to the early 16th century. Worth a visit but the outskirts of the ruins are dangerous requiring you travel with caution.

Always good to visit and remember this piece of Dominican history. It would be much better if there were some sign or guide that gave historical context.
