Enterprise Rent-A-Car

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY IN Santiago Airport. I will never rent a car from Enterprise because of this experience. This all occurred on Saturday 4/6/19. I arrived at the kiosk after landing and presented my reservation which was books weeks in advance. The person behind the counter (Luis) found my reservation and informed me that they could not provide a vehicle because "they ran out of cars". Yes. You are reading this right. They overbooked the vehicles that they had in their garage and basically gave my vehicle to someone else. Luis and his associate offered absolute zero assistance in trying to rectify the situation. I asked for a manager and the manager was conveniently not available. Luis simply threw his hands up and said that I needed to contact Enterprise in the states since I didn't reserve the car directly with the STI office. I asked for a landline to call the states and he denied me that as well. At this point, my frustrations are beyond me. I ask Luis to find me a solution instead of letting me handle a problem that Enterprise created and in a country that I do not live in. I ended up renting a car from another company at the airport that was 2x the price of my original reservation.
