I describe their service as irresponsible, slow, terrible lack of detail, expensive, dangerous, and deceitful. I took my vehicle in 3/5/21 for two problems: a coolant leak, and a strong gas smell while driving for which I was getting an error code P0449. They recommended me to do quite an extensive amount of work between parts and service. I also added an alignment to everything they recommended to fix these two issues. I arrived at 8:15AM that day and left at 2:28PM. In my way home the first thing I noticed was the steering wheel not align properly, it was set to the left. When I call in my way home, they asked me to take it to the Viamar in San Francisco de Macorís, and they corrected the wrong alignment. On 3/18/21 I decided to check the coolant to make sure the leak problem was corrected. To my surprise it was still leaking coolant. I immediately called them, and they advised me to bring the vehicle at 8AM on 3/19/21. I was there sharp at 8AM, and make turn number 8. I decided to go and get something to eat while I wait, for which they told me they will call me when they know was wrong with my car. At 12:20PM I head back to Viamar since I found it strange, they haven't call me yet. To my surprise they were taking care of vehicle number 16, and mine was parked on the back of the building; nobody calls me to let me know. I asked the service representative, and he told me I needed a clamp for a hose that was loose. That was at 12:30PM that I authorized the go ahead, and they ordered the part at 2:45PM. The part didn’t make it until 3:45PM, and they waited until 4:48PM to take my car in; taking care of every after me, and leaving me for last. I was the last one to leave the place after close 5:44PM. In my way home I got 4 lights that turned on in my dashboard: the engine light, the ABS light, the Stability Control light, and the tire pressure light. Since it was dark, I waited until morning to check on this. When I checked the tire pressure, I found one tire on 40 psi, which according to the inspection paper it was at 32 psi. After deflating I got rid of the tire pressure light. When I opened the hood, it was the drop that fill the class of my frustration with Viamar Santiago. I found some weird tool on the engine compartment area, 3 screws, and a bracket; all hanging loose. It was a miracle the vibration of driving the vehicle didn’t throw these items on the engine belt area, which not only could destroy the engine, it could it cost me an accident on the highway putting my family in danger. Almost $36,000 pesos later (USD $629.60) and Viamar never fix the problems I paid for, and inflicted some others that to this point is unknown to what extent. One thing is clear to me, I will never go back to this place, neither will be recommending to anyone.

Poor Customer service, mechanics work fine but try to sell you on products you dont need.

I'll leave this up to you, they keep my vehicle for 4 day just to fixed the wipers, and guess what? They didn't.
