Amazing time. Met a lot of wonderful people. Staff was top notch, amazing views, food and experiences. I would highly recommend visiting! The staff was ultra friendly and never waisted an opportunity to make sure we were all well taken care of. Would recommend the VIP rooms, better views! A Joey bike ride to the beach was great. Zip-line was awesome!!!

What an amazing place! We spent 8 days at the resort. The staff was impeccable, the views are breathtaking. The food was delicious and had more variety than I was expecting. You have your own tree house and can do activities like the highest zip line in the Caribbean, ATV rides, and waterfall hikes. About 1.5 miles from the beach. Highly recommend!

This place is just incredible! It was a perfect getaway to unplug and reconnect with nature without all the distractions of day to day life. The rooms are nice, clean, simple and so peaceful at night. When you wake up, the 360 degree views are just out of this world. Pure paradise! The staff was wonderful and very helpful when we had any questions about the area. The food was amazing! Breakfast and dinner was something special everyday. Plenty to do and discover. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

I just visited the DTHV this past weekend for my boyfriend’s birthday. This place is absolutely amazing! The views are breathtaking and the grounds are very well kept. The staff at this resort are the best! Any questions you have, they have the answer to. They’re very patient and kind hearted people! If you are into the glamorous hotel stay, this place is not it. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and disconnect from your busy every day phone consumed life. Reception is not great...not every room has hot water in the bathroom. However, you can go to the public bathrooms where there’s a shower and use the hot water there. I do recommend athletic wear and very comfortable sneakers. Some of the rooms are up high and the steps are steep. The higher the room, the more amazing the view. Also, there is a long walk into the property before you actually get to the clubhouse but there were guys there to help with the luggage. Breakfast and dinner are served at the resort. Breakfast is good, for the most it’s your average American breakfast. You’re given options. First day I had French toast with bacon, the second morning I had pancakes with bacon. Omelettes were an option as well. Dinner was great! Very tasty food. The chef was on site cooking in the kitchen right next to the clubhouse . You can rent bikes for free down the street and ride to the beach (it’s beautiful) and the locals are very nice. Zip lining is offered and there’s a beautiful pool on site. There’s so much to do but if you want to just relax there’s great opportunity and comfort for that as well. If you’re looking for a nice get away out of the big city and have an appreciation for nature and the outdoors, this is the perfect place for you!
