The outdoor portion of Puyango is worth walking around. Although the petrified wood is not as colorful as pieces in the Southwestern United States, the size and combination of many pieces is stunning. Also a great place for birds! The small indoor museum explains the process of petrification but displays are not dynamic and are in Spanish only.
