En-Dulce

Friendly staff! Great pastries and bread! Had a delicious hot Colada Morada, and a cheese croissant to go. Really affordable prices! It looked closed when we got there because the front gate was closed, but the shop was open (maybe because of the pandemic...) we wanted to try the tamales and quimbolitos but by the time we were there (around 4pm) they were sold out... so you'd better go earlier!

Great, great place for breakfast! Prices are good and the hot chocolate is amazing!

This is place is awesome with a nice quaint feeling. The croissants and cheese breads (empanadas) are one of the best I've ever had. Try the hot chocolate its delicious. Also the chocolate alfajor. Also the price is definitely right. The owner works there too and is very friendly. They can get busy but even so service isn't too delayed. A must go to in old town Quito.

This place is AMAZING! Coffee, juice, Croissant, eggs, jam and butter all for $2.95! And it’s all so great. This place is also a bakery so as you eat you watch them make sweet treats through the big window! En Dulce is small so prepare to eat at the bar stools in front of the bakery window (adds to the experience really!) we’ve been there twice already and the staff remembered us and are so lovely! Best coffee (cappuccino with the breakfast) we have had in Our 3 months of travelling South America.

The food was good. But I had to wait forever before they asked me what I wanted.
