I've been there three times and the first two the food and attention were really good. However, the third time the chef watched us going out from a neighbor business and didn't want to attend us. Absurd!

Perfect place for lunch. The portions are great, and they have great flavor combinations, offered by friendly and quick staff.

Nice little café on a cozy plaza. The sandwiches are good value, but the coffee is a little bit disappointing. Staff is very friendly and the service expeditious.

Nice outdoor cafe with plenty of seating located in the heart of the historic center. The cafe has free WiFi and overlooks a small plaza with water fountains for a relaxing break.

A good place to take a break from the chaos, especially if you are traveling. Everything is done right, pastries were fantastic and the best we’ve had in South America. It’s not necessarily what you come to Ecuador for but it’s a wonderful break from the seco pollo and empanadas. Most items are around $3 and certainly more than other cafes but it’s much higher in quality.
