Worst hospital in Ecuador... recently my daughter-in-law started giving birth prematurely at 7 months and we rushed to the emergency room at this hospital. I could not believe it , but she was refused, claiming they had no bed space. The people were very rude and treated us very badly. She could stay there in a chair in the hall and they would try to save her, but if so, they could not save the baby. We couldn't believe their complete lack of concern. As she already started to have the baby, we went to the closest next hospital, where she received an emergency c-section within minutes and baby was delivered although is still in intensive care.
Unfortunately we are paying every penny we have or can borrow for the care at the second hospital. Don't depend on the "free" health care in Ecuador, you will be treated with disrespect and receive nothing more than added problems.
(I only gave one star because would not let me post it with 0)
Ok
From the moment I arrived, I was treated with great care and care, my eternal gratitude to all the staff in the urology area, very good professionals. I was transferred from Manabi, I have been two years since my surgery and so far everything is very good.
An excellent hospital,
It has 32 specialties and sub-specialties, there are 416 beds.
To access their services they must arrive with a reference sheet (053) from a second level hospital or health center.
If they are from Pichincha they should upload it to the system, if they come from the province it is not necessary to go to the hospital they can ask the social worker or admissions staff to send them by mail, so that they take their turn.
The Admissions Unit is in the old building and they can go there to have their shifts taken care of.
The professionals are very good, unfortunately the latest authorities have not been able to handle the works of their predecessors very well, however all this is offset by the impetus and passion of their professionals.
The ADMISSIONS UNIT has an excellent team and their boys are committed to 100% care
Too many crowds Patient care is regular doctors must be more human and understand the health problem
