Amazing museum. A lot of history in a beautiful building. Just remember to take your passport or ID as it is required to enter. A really good free attraction in Quito where you can know more about politics and history. The tour is guided and you get to keep a free souvenir photo taken at the beginning of the tour.

Since 2007, the Constitutional President of the Republic of Ecuador, in an unpublished decision, opened the doors of the Carondelet Palace for guided tours. You can meet the Yellow Room or Presidents Hall, Banquet Hall, Oratory, Cabinet Room, as well as enjoy the permanent exhibition of gifts, both national and international, delivered to the president and that are part of the heritage of the Palace.
