Casa De Las Artes 999 La Ronda

La Ronda La Casa de las Artes La Ronda, is located in one of the traditional neighborhoods of Quito, called "La Ronda", hence its name. This place, with its own history and tradition, was the southern limit and the entrance to the San Juan de Dios Hospital, unique in this city in the 1900s, and the most important in Latin America. The House has undergone several transformations, not only in the physical but in its use; it has been from public toilets to sawmill; housing and carpentry; according to the needs of its inhabitants and the reality lived in the different historical processes of the city. In 2007 it was opened as a Cultural Center attached to the Metropolitan Cultural Center.
