We drove from Tena by bus to Ahuano and were warmly welcomed by Carmen. The organized boat tour on the Rio Napo with visit to the animal care station Amazoonica and a small Kichwa family near the cayman lagoon was very nice and we can only recommend Carmen and Luis for such or similar tours or walks in the jungle. After the tour there was freshly prepared food, very delicious fish steamed in banana leaf with side dishes and salads. The other dishes, for example. Goulash looked very good. Really good food and no fast food and very friendly, nice atmosphere.

Ahuanoruna is an excellent place, with very good food and excellent scenery.

We loved the atmosphere, the friendliness, the wonderful food and the special couple Carmen and Luis. The two fight for the rainforest and want to move something. An excursion with Luis is highly recommended!
