Salinas Beach Club

one the worst hotel staff and customer service in salinas ecuador . if you want to relax don’t go here . i been to many hotels in ecuador and this upscale hotel has the worse customer service and a not quiet . i could hear the other room tv from my room .. the hotel looks nice because of the eating area but we waited 1 hour to get serve and the pictures on the menu don’t match the food . After dinner my and wifey decided to have go to bed and rest but we couldn’t because they owner was having her own get together at the hotel by the pool by the rooms making noise until 3am, once the party finally ended ,there was a car alarm going off that wouldn’t stop alarming . i went down stairs to ask the staff and the hotel staff didn’t know who’s car it was even tho it was inside their parking garage . i stood up 3 hours waiting for the alarm to go off until finally they change my room around 6am !!! , but to my luck they moved me right next to the elavator . which makes beeping noises on every floor and people started to leave around 7am for beach activities i woke up 8am shower and went downstairs to let them know about my stay . i waited 30 mins for someone to come and talk to me . they couldn’t resolve my issue because i wanted my money back because i came to sleep and i couldn’t do any of it. one of staff called the owner and i spoke the owner it was a she was very rude person . she told me that i’m young person that i shouldn’t of went to the party instead on complaining about it . i told her about the car alarm not letting me sleep she told me that i’m the only customer that complaint about it so my complaint didn’t really matter to her . i told her i wanted my $ back so i could go to a hotel where they value they customer , she told me to make a complaint at the front desk and she hung up the phone with me telling me she didn’t have time for me . all of this is during covic too . the master bed , is just two twins bed put together forget about sleeping with your patner you will sink in the middle . the bed sheets smell like moist i couldn’t use the pillow because of the smell . the bathroom shower was broke and the bathroom had stains in it . hot water take about 10 mins to get warm n then is to hot burn me 2x the bathroom has no door for privacy , so don’t eat street food if don’t want to make your whole room smell .

Had a great time that night; however when we tried to come the second time we were denied entry. Don't know exactly why my Spanish is limited; nontheless they have great drinks and some great mini plates of food.

It's not the greatest place, but it's nicer than the others in the area. We wait for the new year there, not to well organized, but the waitress was friendly and tried his best.
