Hacienda Leito

Enjoyed my stay here. The owner is one of the coolest people I have ever met. The clint eastwood of Ecuador.

Hacienda Leito was a nice visit after a long day of traveling by bus. The common room is decorated very eclectically and kept us busy exploring and discovering new things. The dining room for the restaurant is majestic and regal. The food was adequate. They were serving a huge crowd, so getting the dishes was uneven and not timed for everyone. Our room was rustic and quaint. We were there on a cold night and they had lit the fireplaces for everyone. They also provided a small space heater for each room. Unfortunately, the heaters were too much for the fuse box. We experienced 5 or 6 power outages within the first hour of going to bed. I recommend getting out and walking around the grounds. The views of the valley are great. Cotopaxi even lost its' clouds and we had an excellent view.

remote but beautiful. 300 years old hacienda, **** level. very good beds, fireplace in the rooms for cooler days here in the mountains. magnificent views of the valley of patate and the surrounding peaks. Good food.

What a wonderful place, full of antiques and the grounds were beautiful. We had a great time chasing the hummingbirds around the flowers to get pics :) A fireplace in the room, lit and ready for us to enjoy after a terrific meal. It was great!
