Chester's Pizza

It's ok. Unsure why everyone raves about the pizza. The crust is super dense, more like bread and not pizza dough. If you like bread with sauce & cheese with toppings, then this is the place for you. If you want real pizza, proper dough, fluffy, slightly crunchy, then this is not the place. Not many other options in the area, so your kinda stuck ordering from here. Cheese was flavorless, as was the sauce. I guess it's fine for Ecuador, but I take my pizza very seriously (from NY). Didn't try anything else. Service was great. Staff was super friendly. Great setting. Now if they could only fix the pizza, this would be a solid place. Maybe take a pizza dough making class? And find a new supplier of your cheese. I find Salinerito makes a decent mozzarella for pizza. As for sauce... Use Ecuadorian plum tomatoes, they aren as acidy and have more flavor than the riñón tomatoes everyone uses.

Really good pizza and fun atmosphere

An oasis in this little city. Chester's was a wonderful find. The pizza was surprisingly good, the spicy sauce that you could add on the pizza was delicious, service was friendly and fast, prices are reasonable, and the setting is awesome. The small restaurant is surrounded by a large well kept lawn with lots of trees and birds - like having a picnic in a beautiful park. Highly recommend Chester's.

This is a pizza joint as well as a bed and breakfast with close proximity to the Quito airport. It has become a great place for a quick bite before heading to the airport for a flight. That's what we did during the last visit and the kids with us were able to enjoy the swings in the spacious front yard while waiting on the food.

Such a wonderful experience. Cute dogs, beautiful view, delicious food and a very kind host. If I'm back in Ecuador I'll be sure to come back. Thank you!!
