Budget - Quito Aeropuerto

Don’t rent your car from Budget at Quito Airport. Upon landing, I found all other rental car counters are properly staffed to look after their customers except for Budget - an empty counter. The courtesy phone at the airport doesn’t work for Budget. You have to call its call centre, which is stationed in Guayaquil and couldn’t even find my reservation. When connected to the Quito Budget rental office, they said my flight was 30 minutes early so no one was at the airport. I was asked to wait for 30 min while they bring the car to me. I decided to cancel my car rental and go with someone else. If Budget doesn’t want to do business properly that’s their choice. As a customer I also have my choice.

I hired via the Takeoff page and they accepted the 6:00 am schedule upon arriving to remove the vehicle opening at 7:00 am, we called and nobody gave a solution, I asked for the first hour. Then the vehicle I hired was not on site, they told me that I had to remove it in Quito and that it was only 25 minutes more which became 1 hour more lost !!! Upon returning the vehicle I had to wait another hour because they only had one worker who attends the airport and delivery! They wanted to charge me another day because their system said so, another bad time that I had to clarify. I think more than enough to never rent in this company

They cheated us by debiting twice the amount of a spare and they did not give us the bill. In addition, the price of the lost accessory was very high. While the employee was stealing from us twice the debit card, he gave us as an excuse that the owner was the same one who had the Chevrolet concession in Ecuador
