Try the CIPA a beer you will never experience in the United States. CIPA stands for Coca Indian Pale Ale. This is a great location on Plaza de Ponchos with great craft beer. If you visit Otavalo and like beer you should check this place out. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is great and breakfast is an especially great deal. I have visited many times over my visits to Ecuador.

It's a nice place to relax after an evening of voting attractions around the city. Don't forget to try the beers made in Otavalo, there are a really good choice (and better than the national beer of choice). Beers are at a good price too. Ninkasi has a good vibe and sometimes has live music. I was there on Saturday and it was a bit empty but I imagine that in a good Friday this place rocks a little town like Otavalo.

Nice bar type atmosphere, large TVs and decent beer. Only, when we visited, the beer was served flat and not-quite-cold. The flavor was good though so I'm assuming it was a fluke.

Came here with my family of 10 during midday. Food was good, had grilled chicken with rice, French fries, small side salad. Enjoyed the little banana with whip cream dessert that was complimentary.

This is a wonderful craft beer joint with welcoming staff and excellent atmosphere the CIPA was my favorite 🍻
