La Caldera (Cóndor Machay)

The Caldera was born thanks to the last eruption of the Cotopaxi volcano and the Pita River. It is a beautiful plant with the river on one side and the mountain wall on the other. This is the camping place on the Condor Machay Waterfalls route 🏞️. The value for this activity is $ 5 💵 per person. Believe it or not in that area there are river fish! Excellent place to visit. It is only 100 meters from the main parking lot and is part of the Pita river course. It is the beginning of the route to Cóndor Machay. You can camp, photograph or spend a pleasant time with a group of people as it is a large place. You can also cross to the other side of the river without much difficulty. Recommendable.
