My son broke his arm while on the island. Although not having an x-ray the did a first diagnosis and put a temporary cast on the arm, so we could go to the better equipped medical center on Santa Cruz the next day. We simply walked straight into the emergency ward and they were super kind and fluent in English. The next morning they gave us all documents we needed for the next doctor in Puerto Ayora and even gave us a ride to the port in and ambulance.
