Very interesting place we got a tour around the place and a free sample. Both husband and wife are very involved. How they make it work in such a small space is great. They are peroposing to open a beer garden, what a fantastic idea

Sol de Venado has excellent artisanal beer and I love their carbonated ginger honey drink! They even have a vegetarian food plate option that is very tasty, for those non BBQ folks!

one of the BEST MEALS OF MY TRIP! The cook (I can’t remember her name) was trained in Quito and Guayaquil, is extremely friendly and clearly knows her stuff. I was traveling by bicycle so have a big appetite and enjoyed every bite. The seco de cabra was so tender and juicy, the potatoes and sauce perfect, the slaw salad I even still think about. The bbq was also perfectly slow cooked. Paired with a hoppy blonde ale made next door, and delicious lemonade, I could not have been happier!
