Calendario Solar

The Solar Calendar is on the Sacred Route trail. The communities have special respect for Inti Tayta or Father Sun. The movement of the Sun is used as a reference for the celebration of the main festivals, for the orientation of the place and time and for planting activities. The solar calendar is based on the shadow created by sunlight where, depending on the extent and orientation of the shadow, you can know the hours of the day and the month of the year.
