This discoteca required a passport and reservations for foreigners to get in. They won’t accept valid forms of ID from other countries, aside from a passport. However, it’s dangerous to bring your passport to a discoteca because passports are frequently stolen here in Ecuador. A USA passport sells on the black market for $8,000.
