Seguros Pichincha wants to be a company that provides good customer service and good products. The reality is different. Suddenly the company is not so bad, but the service that the employees provide is bad. When they need something, they say "always with you" but the reality is that they give the impression that they want to be anywhere other than "with you." They work confidently to provide worthless health insurance. It's all just for reimbursement and when you try to make an appointment for something the doctor has asked for, they say "just go ahead and then send us for reimbursement." They make the process so difficult that it is best not to try. Better to look for another option. Seguros de Pichincha wants to be a company that provides good customer service and products. The reality of the situation is different. Maybe the company isn't that bad, but the service that the employees provide is bad. When you need something they always say "always with you" but they give the impression that they'd rather be anywhere BUT with you when you deal with them. They work with Confiamed to provide a health insurance product. Everything is done by reimbursements. When I tried to make an appointment for my physician ordered test they told me to just go get it and submit for reimbursement. They make the process so difficult that it's easier to just eat it and get on with life than try to get reimbursed for a couple hundred dollars.
