Sala de Cine "Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco"

It is really difficult to find a cinema like this, not only in Ecuador, but in the world. The functions are totally free, in a very well designed room, that evokes the classic cinemas. Only cinema called "art" is transmitted, but it is not understood as boring. They are the best stories, narrated in the best cinematographic language in the world. Visit it :)

With this note I allow myself to congratulate the honesty and helpful attitude of the public servants who work at the Ulises Estrella National Cinemateca - Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco hall in Quito. We forgot a cell phone on the cafeteria table, and after finishing the movie we didn't even notice it. However, Mr. Fernando Páez had a proactive attitude: he was waiting for our departure and identify us to return the cell phone. We congratulate this noble action and encourage other public and private sites to imitate this procedure. I encourage you to visit this pleasant place in Quito, where you will find selected films from different parts of the planet, most times with free admission! On the weekend, they spend up to three movies per day. Take advantage of the weekend, there is parking and finally you can try a hot coffee with a nice dessert in the cafeteria. Let's enjoy this traditional house of good cinema.
