STOP 1: RELIGIOUS DRAMA This elegant church for its contemporary construction around the 50s, without being declared patrimonial, preserves the constructive characteristics that keep representative aspects of the eclectic-trend temples. The vigorous Sanblaseños consolidated their religious faith entrusting themselves to the patron Saint Blas, they saw the need to have their own church. The traditional dramas, the mingas, the financial donations and the professed devotion to the different Saints that decorate this temple allowed the desired building. The work was arduous but the immense faith and the will of the people paid off and, as Miss Justina narrates, “I was the godmother of this corner window back there, they tuned some tapes of each window (…). Each of the little windows had their ribbons and godmothers ”. Thanks to the Catholic heritage, the dream of the people of San Sebastián came true. On the main altar they illuminate with their presence the sculptures of San Blas escorted by the Blessed Virgin Immaculate Conception, the Risen Jesus and the image of the Sorrowful of the College. San Blas, known for his gift of miraculous healing, has cared for his people since then and has kept the faith of his people.
