This restaurant has great food and a chill atmosphere. The guayusa tea is the best around hands down. The owners are a good family and very friendly.

This two-level restaurant, who also operate a food truck, serves grilled meat that both locals and tourist enjoy. If you know what you like, simply order a combination plate like the Tablitas Mega Especial which comes with BBQ wings, chicken, pork and beef. I personally like the flavors of their grilled pork, especially the aromatic fatty parts. They also have hamburgers or hotdogs, and you can order a side of fries, yucas, and salad for a complete meal. The restaurant is furnished with tables and chairs that look like they are craved out from trees added a very rustic jungle feel, a reminder of the rich history of missionary work in the jungle in the 40s. It is a cozy space with a panoramic view of the nearby park and town center if you choose to enjoy your meal on the second floor. The steps leading to the upper level is narrow but an easy climb.

Our favorite restaurant in Shell. We recommend the 1/4 of chicken and the Hamburguesa Tejana.
