Zayapa

Had a delicious lunch (soup and main dish combo $7) combined with an amazing hospitality from Katherine who was wonderful and friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

A locally owned restaurant with loving touches. At Zayapa you will get more than you pay for, it's a high quality and accommodating restaurant. Be sure to try the hammock chairs while you wait for your meal, and if you like milkshakes, you will not be disappointed.

Very dodgy place. Read to the end and you'll be shocked. My tour operator booked lunch for me with them, but then I wanted to cancel it. To my surprise I was told that the restaurant does not allow cancellation within 12-24 hours. What kind of restaurant does not cancel reservations? Let alone the fact that the reservation was for one person. Are they really that desperate that they can't find one extra customer? Not only that, but I went to the restaurant at 6 pm asked to be served that lunch that WAS ALREADY PAID FOR, and they said that they can't serve me that lunch because this is not lunch time. I'm mindblown! If I had time, I would have called the police for them.

Came here for lunch, food was awesome. Servers were very friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Would reccomend.

Food is beyond fantastic and the owner is very nice and welcoming. Will be eating here again soon!!
