A very beautiful, open doors, spiritual haven. The simple artwork is meaningful and provides inspiration for reflection. The sacred space exudes peace and tranquillity. The statue of Saint Francis standing at the entrance, looks lively and communicates a message of environmental responsibility. It’s certainly very fitting to have chosen St Francis of Assisi as patron of this church in the Galápagos Islands: he is the saint who called all creatures brothers and sisters, including animals, fish, the sun and the moon, the stars and the mountains... Here, he seems to continue his mission inspiring care for our precious environment.

In front of the dock, next to the supermarket. The stained glass and the statue in front of the entrance are the landmarks.

The Cathedral of Santa Cruz Galapagos, beautiful place in front of the port, decoration, organ and choir and of course omolia.
