ALMAR Seafood Grill

The service was just great. We had great coffee and mango juice also great. The setting is fabulous. The salmon was a bit dry but the chicken was delicious.

Best meal of trip. Recommended by locals, but not inexpensive. Recommend reservations to have a table by the water. Uber romantic. I had suckling pig and wife has quinoa dish. Superlatives well deserved. Some mosquitoes that they addressed with environmentally friendly repellent. Fantastic end to amazing trip.

The food is excellent - well prepared and well presented. Service could have been more attentive but overall a delightful experience. We did not have reservations on a weekday night and so we did not get to sit outside by the water. Recommend reserving a table because the outside seating looks great.

Great spot, a bit out of the way from the other restaurants but we eventually found it :)

Bad service. We reserved a table by the water TWO DAYS in advance. When we arrived we were directed to a table away from the water front. When we asked for a table close to the water, the waiter and manager told us it was not available because someone placed a reservation earlier. No one told us this before.
