Killa Wasi Hostel

We were searching for a more laid-back place and this one was exactly the one we were looking for. It's not about the luxury, but about a comfortable stay. Victor lso sells organic sauces which were very tasty.

My girlfriend and I camped here for a few nights and would recommend. Victor and his family helped us with things to do during the transport strikes so our time was occupied while we couldn't move on. Veg picked from the garden and fresh eggs from the hens was available to purchase. A kitchen was available to cook with everything we required and a hot shower.

We spent three nights at Killa Wasi and wished we could have stayed longer. The hostel is simple and clean - the ideal place for backpackers - and has the most incredible views of Alausí's beautiful countryside. Set within the family's farm it's quiet and tranquil and Victor was super helpful with information about hikes in the area and our onward travel. There's a basic kitchen for cooking and a nice outdoor seating area. It's a great budget option in Alausí.
