Dos Chorreras Restaurant

Last year around this time, I went there expecting a lot because my land lady raved about it. I was pretty disappointed because 1) When I got there, no one came and greeted me. Everyone was too busy with their own work, 2) After I got one of the people’s attention, I requested to be seated by the window because the view was better but after I sat down, no one came to take my order, 3) after a long time my good arrived but I needed something to eat with. Apparently they forgot, 4) During the meal no one stopped by to see how was the food, 5) when it came time to pay, I have to once again go to find someone to give me a check. It was like I wasn’t exist and invisible. I think the staff was poorly trained. There was a tour group when I was there but many empty tables. The staff was quite young and inexperience. It wasn’t even near closing time. I felt like I wasn’t even welcome there. Given how expensive was the food, it best to walk around the restaurant and not eat there. It’s not worth your money.

This place is an Experience! Yes, there's the restaurant, which is very good. But there is much more, you can wander the grounds and multiple buildings, shops, cabanas, hotel, gift shops, chocolateria, and amazing scenery!

Nice but kind of expensive

They became so comercial. It is not at all what it was before. Breakfast is not good and overpriced. It is a store rather than a family hotel, what a waste. I won't be returning anymore.

A good place to stop on your drive through El Cajas to Cuenca but don’t expect speedy service. The food is typical but not that special.
