A simple but beautiful Orthodox church near Narva. A must-see and attended with great sympathy by the person who takes care of it.

The building is beautifully made, long life for these logs, they travel so much in time and places.

Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The wooden church was built in 1868 in the village of Merekyul in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God on the initiative of the St. Petersburg priest Alexander Gumilevsky (engineer Izmailov). The church was moved to Narva-Jõesuu and consecrated on August 28, 1948 by the bishop of Tallinn and Estonia, Isidore (Epiphany) in honor of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir. In 2013, with the blessing of His Grace Lazarus, Bishop of Narva and Prichudsky, the original name was returned in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Very cozy and well-kept church !!!)))
