Soomaa Water Camp

The closest kemping to Soomaa Park.For tents guest avaiable: tables witt roofs, electricity, dry toilets, plenty of space to pitch a tent. Shower only one and for extra payment. But very nice spot to swim on the river (cold as hell, but worth). Basketball court mad trampoline for kids. Nice place.

So wonderful place. I recommend this for getting away to the lovely nature.

Really unique scenery beside the river. Definitely worth a night, for those who enjoy being in nature. The canoe tour is definitely worth it. The shortest route is definitely enough for inexperienced. You are driven upstream (arbitrarily far) and then drive back to the campsite.

The place has a lot of charm. Right on the river and very close to the national park. If there is not much going on, the sanitary facilities (1 toilet for men and 1 toilet for women plus a shared shower) are sufficient. But if more than 10 people are there, it will be tight. There is also a small possibility for campers to wash their dishes. Therefore you should avoid the main travel time and the weekends. We were lucky and there were only a few travelers at the end of August. The sauna by the river is beautiful and you can jump directly into the river.
