Sillamae Muuseum

Sillamae was closed secret object in Soviet time. There are still many myths about it. Sillamäe Museum lifts the veil of this secrecy!

Typical old fashion museum, labels all in Russian only, nothing for tourists, unless you can speak Russian.

Beautiful small museum of everything related to the history of Sillamäe. There are several expositions of different subjects from geology to historical toys.

Very awesome place - for 3€ per person we got an individualized excursion and local guidence in Russian. A lot of information about Sillamae history - suggest you to read a bit of Soviet history and a bit of history of Sillamae at least in Wikipedia. Wide collection of Soviet Estonia lifestyle items. Also wide doll and mineral collection. Overall, suggesting to visit this place if you are in Sillamae already.😊
