I don't recommend interacting with this GP. I got sick of the virus, and in the middle of the week, an illness leaflet was opened and on Friday I was called to the site.
On Friday I called to get a new time because I had a fever and was so drowsy that most of the day I was down.
"To whom do you have time ?! Nurse or doctor ?! "
"I don't know, I wasn't told."
"Well you could ask for such things yourself!"
(Why should a caller know about the organization of a GP? No one who is bad can ask such a thing.)
"Please, can I have a new time, because today I can't come to the reception, I have a fever and I am dizzy."
"What's your blood pressure right now ?!"
"I do not know."
“Well, this behavior by an adult is not acceptable! Get together and come to the reception! "
The tube was thrown.
Why does such a medic work there? (not hearing this behavior for the first time).
Wouldn't have called to ask for a new time if I hadn't been bad.
However, such communication by a family physician is inappropriate and unacceptable.
Phone availability has improved recently. Of course, you have to try many times, but at least it succeeds.
Of course, I am amazed at the system in which a family nurse essentially works as a doctor. With my sick children, I am always referred to a family nurse for a review and treatment. Unfortunately, a family nurse is not a doctor (be she any good). And it should be up to your doctor to make treatment decisions and prescribe medications (such as antibiotics).
As it is hoped that the prescription still requires the consent of the doctor, perhaps the system could be improved so that the doctor first delves into the story a bit by throwing his signature and stamp under the prescription. The last time a nurse was giving antibiotic treatment to a child under 2 years of age with a pain in the day. There were no symptoms other than a slight reddening of the eardrum (no rhinitis, fever or ear discharge) and no tests were performed. When I dared to ask why the AB treatment was already, it only said that the first ear infection is alive and put it on (not a very convincing reason). Recently, AB resistance has been an important topic and for no direct reason (if a little reddening of the eardrum is the cause, correct me), sister sharing of AB does not help much. It also has several side effects.
In the end, I really like the pediatrician Dr..Tamm, whom we have met a couple of times. Also our family doctor is dr. A fun and intelligent person to cut. But the activities of family nurses should be more controlled.
Only good things can be said about the Järveotsa family doctor center, as the doctors are very helpful and polite, and the appointment is quite quick. When you can. The problem is getting in touch over the phone. That's impossible, and that's why I've had to go in many ways because I need to extend my prescription drug or register for an appointment. After all, you can call 20 or even 30 times, but it may not result in any results. And if you finally succeed, you have to be treated very rude and arrogant. And that's where, of course, why not update or register online. Because there is not always a chance today, I was even told that there are always excuses. But this is far from the worst. I have even been literally sent to the devil and interrupted more than once. I have endured it for a long time, but today I decided to say that it would not cost anyone to go to a family doctor center where those who help and serve should first and foremost make it clear that they are the number one and you need to suffer and shut up. Despite the fact that doctors are very helpful and polite, you can't always reach them, since contact with the receptionist is almost impossible. Can't understand why a place is being held if the office is not liked at all and people can't be contacted. Amazing. E.Saarna
I changed my family doctor center for the kids to be closer to home. You have never been to your family doctor. I start to doubt that it exists at all. Most of the problems are solved by a nurse, also say what medications to take. Mind Wonders of the system: in the past, and still läbivaatlusega treatment will be carried out by family physicians. No referral to a specialist has been received. By phone almost impossible to contact: There may be sometimes early in the morning, but it seems that after 11 torut simply not taken.
Järveotsa Family Medicine Center has good and caring doctors. I have always had a quick visit to the doctor and received good and high-quality medical care.
A very big plus is their self-service portal (e-family doctor center), through which you can quickly and conveniently book a visit, extend prescriptions, submit applications for a health certificate and much more.
In addition, it is possible to keep a diary about your health.
I highly recommend :)
