Rannakämping

Kihnu is amazing and Rannakämping is the perfect compliment to the island. Quiet and cozy to stay in!

Accomodations are real decent, but food offered is at times bland and suited more to old school canteen.

Simple "wild campsite" at the beach. 5 € per person (there's no fee for a tent) 18 € per person if you book a cabin. 20 € for a caravan, (I guess no matter how many persons) 10 € for 24h bike rent They don't speak English there, so it can be a bit tricky to tell them what you want. The campsite is NOT at the area of rannakämping under the trees, but 300m to the beach. We ended with putting up our tent 3 times, as we thought it would be a good idea to put it up under the trees near the kitchen... It wasn't. Very uneven ground, fire ants and a lot of mosquitos made clear, why All the campers stayed far away at the beach. The good thing is, you have total free choice of the spot, so we decided to take a spot only 50m from the beach. The downside is, you have no shade and have to walk about 400m to the toilets or washing room, which can be annoying with a small child. When we realized that the campsite is not really suitable for a family with a small kid, we asked, if we could rent one of the cabins, but where told that all cabins are booked. It seemed for us, that the woman thought it would be to complicated to calculate the extra costs. A problem was also that she didn't speak any English, which didn't make it easier for us to explain our situation. There where definitely cabins free, which was unpleasant for us when we saw it later that day. Unfortunately It turned out that the campsite and the cabins are frequently booked by groups that celebrate... whatever, so you better get used to loud music or a motorbike driving with full speed next to your tent until 3 o'clock at night, again, again and again. Why we still give 3 stars? Because the beach and the nature are awesome. And we might go there again, if we would be with a couple of friends without our kids, want to drink and have a good time at the beach. The toilets and showers in a ok shape. Mostly clean, and the mosquitos and ants are nothing the camp owners can do about it. The kitchen is quite big and well equipped. And you can rent bikes direct at the spot, which we recommend. And the prices for Camping are unbelievable cheap Camping - 5 € per person (there's no fee for a tent) Cabin - 18 € per person. Caravan - 20 € (I guess no matter how many persons) But we definitely DON'T RECOMMEND this place if you are with small kids and want a quiet stay.

A bit outdated, but with basic amenities: kitchenware, fridge etc. Bungalows are pretty small. Breakfast option:porridge, eggs - Price negotiable.

Was a decent place, only a little noisy because of some summercamp was located near our house.
