Linnu 2, Viljandi, 58.362981, 25.601513 58 ° 21 '46.73 ", 25 ° 36' 5.45" The Viljandi Town Hall building is one of the four oldest surviving stone houses in the city. The walls of the first floor are preserved from the old house. The clock tower was completed at the town hall in 1838. It is interesting to know: - The original tower clock was with wooden castors, and the duty of the town hall guards was to set the correct time in the mornings - In 1931, after the reconstruction, the opened town hall - the first modern town hall in Estonia - Soviet soldiers formed the Town Hall Square in 1944. during the holidays on the occasion of the "liberation" of Viljandi. Today, the building houses the Viljandi City Government.
