The classicist-style manor house of Kohila manor was built in the early 19th century. The owners of the manor have been von Brevens. The manor burned down in 1905 and was sold to Kohila Paberivabrik AS. After the war, the main building of the manor housed a school and the office of Kohila Paper Mill, later a hospital. Since September 1, 2013, Kohila Manor School has been operating in the manor.
