The main building of Alu Manor is the most unique examples of neo-Gothic architecture in Estonia. The manor was founded in 1456. The manor's current main building was completed in 1875. Architect F.W.P Alisch. After the manors were transferred in 1923, Alu Primary School operated in the building. In 1999, the manor house was bought by the Defense League and after the renovation the school of the Defense League was founded
