Out of all of the places I have travelled in over 40 countries, Maidla stood out and was easily the best experience I have ever had. The utter privacy and pampering you are given, while still being in nature combines the best of all worlds. This is the epitome of minimalist luxury and the epic tour of the grounds is not to be missed. Not only is Maidla just a beautiful escape, but has a fascinating history that makes up the fabric of Estonia's rich heritage. Part of the wonderful team that runs this place is Geete, part artist, historian, detective, sociologist and superwoman, she made our stay unforgettable in the best of ways. If you want to splurge on yourself and someone special, Maidla is definitely the place to go.

Absolutely private, quiet and romantic getaway in the middle of nature. Enjoy the stars from the floor or roof of the suite and peak the passing animals. Beautiful.

Maidla Nature Resort is a unique experience where you can immerse in nature while indulging luxury. The tiny house villa by architect Mari Hunt is a brilliant place to stay - in the middle of nature with 180 degree uninterrupted view of the surrounding nature, it's compact but feels spacious as every small detail has been really well thought through and meticulously planned. Including a space-age-high-tech-toilet! We experienced rain showers, then a sunset, fog, a swan couple, cranes, deer, a sunrise into the morning fog. And a really lovely breakfast of banana pancakes in the former staff building of the manor. The manor itself is waiting for renovation, so many stories and layers of history yet to be discovered.

A 5* luxury hotel suite on the edge of a bog. It doesn't get better than this for nature lovers. Combine it with a visit to Mukri raba + gourmet dinner at Pargi Resto and you've got yourself a day worth remembering. Will definitely be back.

Untouched nature, historical surroundings, tranquility and privacy. Perfect place to escape from the city and enjoy the beauty of Estonian nature!
